On the northern end of Bondi Beach on Ramsgate Avenue is a little oasis set up high on the hill away from the crowds of the beach where you can relax with a picnic, have a barbecue and watch the children play on the swings. Biddigal Reserve is its name and it overlooks the beach and ocean, providing fabulous views.

Amidst the shady trees are some children's mosaic sea creatures created by artist, Lloyd Keleman. I had read about the mosaic fish sculpture and specifically went to the park to see it. I was happily surprised to find not just a fish but an additional four bright and colourful pieces of work.
Once they get hot and bored, it is a short stroll down to the children's pool below for a swim. A huge mosaic mural can be found on the wall beside the pool. It also features aquatic creatures. Rock pools next to the swimming pool are popular for exploring as well.

All in all the reserve is a lovely place where you can relax and read a book, play or simply sit and watch the world go by.

Food: Bondi RSL is close by and there are several cafes and takeaways on Campbell Parade.
Rubbish bins: Yes, there are rubbish bins in the park.
Toilets: The nearest toilets are at North Bondi SLS.
